Taipei, Taiwan – June 15, 2022 – ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade DRAM modules and NAND Flash products, is pleased to announce that it will be at Embedded World 2022 (June 21 – 23) to showcase its latest industrial-grade solutions. At the show, ADATA will be demonstrating its 112-layer (BiCS5) 3D TLC flash storage products, including NVMe/SATA III solid state drives and memory cards. At the same time, ADATA will be displaying its high-capacity and high-performance DDR5 DRAM modules developed for 5G, IIoT applications, and edge computing. What’s more, ADATA will be sharing success stories at its booth to illustrate how ADATA solutions are enabling a wide range of industrial applications. Wide-Temperature BiCS5 NVMe/SATA Flash Storage– Higher Speed, Endurance, and Capacity
At Embedded World 2022, visitors will be able to see ADATA’s latest 112-layer (BiCS5) 3D TLC NAND flash storage devices equipped with KIOXIA and WDC ICs and featuring various form factors, including 2..5-inch, M.2 2280/224, and mSATA, as well as different specifications such as CFast and microSD memory cards. In addition to SATA III SSDs, ADATA will showcase two BiCS5 M.2 2280 SSDs that support PCIe Gen4x4 and the NVMe 1.4 standard to deliver write/write performance up to 7400/6800 MB/s, high capacities up to 4TB, and 3K P/E cycle ratings for greater product longevity, At the same time, the BiCS5 SSDs support Thermal Throttling technology, enabling users to manage temperature changes and thus protecting their data.
To ensure greater durability, ADATA’s BiCS5 SSDs and memory cards undergo wide-temperature testing (-40°C to 85°C). As for data security and integrity, the BiCS5 SSDs support LDPC ECC, End-to-End (E2E) data path protection, as well as A+ Security data security technologies, such as AES 256-bit encryption and TCG OPAL 2.0. In addition, with ADATA’s proprietary A+ OPAL software, customers can easily activate TCG OPAL for all their ADATA industrial-grade NVMe and SATA III SSDs that support TCG OPAL.
DDR5 4800 Industrial-Grade DRAM Modules
To enable the growing trends of big data analytics, artificial intelligence, IoT, and edge computing, ADATA is offering high-capacity, high-performance memory solutions with low latency, which are essential to these applications. ADATA will also present its industrial-grade DDR5 DRAM modules, including U-DIMM, SO-DIMM, and R-DIMM variants that all feature ultra-high speeds of up to 4800 MT/s as well as on-die ECC technology. They utilize SAMSUNG original ICs, offer capacities of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, and operate at 1.1V for improved energy efficiency over DDR4. In addition, the DDR5 4800 series employs 30µ PCB gold plating for improved signal transmission and come with optional features such as anti-sulfuration protection and conformal coating technology for resilience against pollutants, dust, and humidity.
