Originally, the customer's servers, used for EDA workloads, utilized DDR4 with ECC at an aggressive tRFC1 setting of 350ns. — significantly below JEDEC’s 550ns standard. This performance gap presented an engineering challenge: to maintain ADATA Industrial competitive edge while achieving compliance, we needed to pioneer a custom IC solution.
Through close collaboration with semiconductor partners, ADATA Industrial developed a breakthrough Hynix IC that delivers dual advantages: optimized timing meeting the 350ns target, and full JEDEC compatibility.
