As 5G and AIoT application storage requirements continue to expand worldwide, high capacity 3D TLC NAND Flash has gradually replaced SLC and 2D MLC to become the market mainstream. However, this increasing ubiquity also represents a dilemma for customers as they seek to balance budget and performance: high-density storage is required but read-write performance and durability must be guaranteed. Aiming to address this issue, ADATA Industrial’s R&D team has introduced a solution – upgrade to A⁺ SLC technology and push the P/E Cycles (erase cycles) of 3D TLC products to 100K (100,000 cycles) for longer lifespans!
In order to improve the cost performance of flash memory products, ADATA has developed exclusive Pseudo SLC (pSLC) technology, designated “A⁺ SLC”. Through the use of specialized firmware, A⁺ SLC simulates the performance of SLC within 3D TLC, breaking through TLC’s low write cycle bottleneck. Through ADATA's upgraded A⁺ SLC technology, the standard 3K (3,000 cycles) P/E Cycles of ordinary 3D TLC flash memory can be increased to 100K (100,000 cycles), greatly increasing product lifespan 33-fold. A⁺ SLC can fully satisfy the needs of customers who require long-term and complete data preservation.
